Shadowpaw Press has launched its Kickstarter for Shapers of Worlds Volume 5, the fifth in a series of powerhouse anthologies featuring some of today’s top authors of science fiction & fantasy. This anthology features two dozen authors (myself included). Each story will have a black and white illustration by Wendi Nordell.
Most of the money goes to authors (yay!).
What’s in it for you?
Many authors, myself included, have provided special rewards for backers, including numerous ebooks, signed print books, audiobooks, Tuckerizations–opportunities to have your name used for a character in a story in the anthology–and the opportunity for online video chats or even online mentoring. The publisher is also offering his editing service for a novel of up to 100,000 words.
Plus, your contributions supports an indie, Canadian publisher of science fiction and fantasy. Sure, slick, mainstream books published by big-name publishers are fine, but if you also love unique stories a little off the beaten path, supporting indie publishers is the best way to keep that kind diversity alive.
